1. city (Taipei, Tokyo)
2. suburbs (Fremont)
3. countryside (Tsukuba)
4. by the beach (La Jolla)
Maybe in the future I'll be living in the mountains or in rural places or in a small town.
It's always weird for me when I wonder how life is; how each decision we make changes our future one by one; and there would be entirely different sets of people in our lives depending on where we go, what clubs we join, what classes we take etc.
how just one single event can be insignificant or very important to us. but the thing is that we will never know until it hits us.
There are people who cannot really live anywhere because they don't like crowded smelly areas, or places with nothing to do. For me right now, I feel like I can adjust to anywhere and any type of place. The countryside and city are both awesome and ugh in their own ways.
Everything just depends, you know.
I agree. Small events that may seem insignificant at the time may actually have a huge impact on later. (is that what they call the butterfly effect?) I want to live in different places, but I know I don't really fit big city life. I don't mind visiting big cities like SF, Taipei, Tokyo, but I don't think I'd live there. Even in LA, I'm in the more suburb-y place. hehe Very strange though cuz I used to think that I fit more city life than country life. But now I'm more interested in country life. :P but everywhere and anywhere is just so amazing to see. maybe I'll be a wandering nomad. :D But we'll see cuz yeah, you don't truly know until you try.
